Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand business. Together, we share a common vision: A changed world where children's dreams come to life.
We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, our children's rights work is primarily conducted through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen.

As a team leader, you play a central role in achieving the store's set goals; our surplus target, our social goal, and our environmental goal. You work operationally; you lead and participate in the daily work with a special focus on preparation; that is, "the gift's journey" through receiving, sorting, price marking, and preparing for sale. No day is like the other, and as a team leader, you need to be flexible and appreciate a varied workload.

- You, together with the management team, are responsible for the preparation of incoming donations and to some extent for sales and product display in the store.
- Jointly responsible for the store during opening hours, with additional store responsibility during certain evenings and weekends.
- You report to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
We want you who apply to:
- Have post-secondary education, preferably within retail, leadership/behavioral science, or social work, or alternatively education/work experience considered equivalent.
- Have relevant experience in team leadership/leadership.
- Have experience in retail or warehouse work, preferably within retail.
- Have an interest in reuse/second-hand work.
- Share our value base, which is built on three fundamental principles; a Christian view of humanity, "Erik's spirit", and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
You are:
- A relationship builder who is confident in your leadership role and accustomed to meeting people in different life situations and contexts.
- Self-reliant, responsible, and enjoys working in a goal-oriented and structured manner.
- A person with good social skills and experience in customer interactions.
- A person with good ability to prioritize, make decisions, and solve problems, sometimes at a high pace.
Merits:
- You have experience working with individuals with individual support or work adaptation needs.
- You have experience working with reuse or second-hand.
